Nino grew extensive interest in neurological/orthopedic care through his rehabilitative education at Neurocore. He has diverse clinical volunteer experience, working within athletic training, musculoskeletal, cardiac, and neurological care environments. Nino is a familiar figure to our clinic, through his involvement in our administrative team.
Nino is a strong advocate for physical activity, and believes it provides considerable foundation in attaining physical, social, and mental well-being. This is exemplified through his experiences as a former competitive soccer player and coach, as well as over 10 years’ worth of martial arts training.
Nino was a 4-time continuing student scholarship recipient during his undergraduate studies at York University, demonstrating continued academic excellence within the field of Kinesiology and Human Kinetics. In December of 2021, he graduated from his undergraduate degree with the highest distinction, achieving Summa Cum Laude academic honors. His studies have paved interest in applying Joseph Pilates’ approach to geriatric populations.
