Michael’s passion for physical rehabilitation in neurological and orthopaedic settings developed across numerous volunteer and clinical experiences. His diverse clinical background includes work in complex continuing care and acute inpatient care within the Mackenzie Health system, and virtual neuro rehabilitation in coordination with Handi-Care International and Amar Seva Sangam located in India. Additionally, Michael has held a variety of positions at orthopaedic clinics within the community, most notably as a former volunteer at Neurocore.
Michael’s extensive experience has provided him with the opportunity to collaborate with various patient populations including children and adults with neurological conditions, athletes, seniors, and weekend warriors. His keen interest in active therapy and dedication to being a lifelong learner forms the foundation of his clinical practice. Michael uses evidence-informed physiotherapy practices to create individualised treatment plans focused on client adaptability and empowerment. Michael is a vibrant clinician who takes extra care in educating and involving his clients in their rehabilitation journey.
Michael looks forward to furthering his education through additional certifications in neurological assessment and treatment, as well as advanced manual therapy.
Michael is in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
