About Bilaal
Bilaal Rasool is a Registered Physiotherapist with experience in both orthopaedic and neurological rehabilitation. He completed his Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto, following a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from McMaster University with a focus on human kinetics and neuromuscular physiology.
His clinical experience includes work at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, Markham Stouffville Hospital, and the Orthopaedic Rehabilitation Institute, where he supported individuals across the continuum of care—from acute medical to private orthopaedic and neurological settings. Bilaal is committed to providing patient-centred, evidence-informed care tailored to each individual’s needs and goals.
He has completed additional training in:
- Functional Range Conditioning (FRC)
- Kinesiotaping
- Bobath Concept – Introduction to Human Movement
- Functional Gait Assessment – Level 1
- McKenzie Method (MDT) – Lumbar Spine
With a background as a competitive athlete in volleyball, basketball, badminton, and soccer, and as a 1st Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo, Bilaal brings a strong appreciation for movement, performance, and injury prevention into his physiotherapy practice. He has a special interest in neurorehabilitation, sports medicine, and functional mobility training.
Bilaal is passionate about patient education and believes in empowering individuals with the knowledge and tools to support long-term recovery. He continues to pursue ongoing professional development in neurological assessment, chronic pain management, and movement analysis.
He is a member in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
